Natural Calm Holiday Citrus Spice

This wasn’t the first time we included Natural Calm, but it was the first time their holiday flavor has been on the market. We love the citrus spice. Everything about it feels cozy, and that’s not even the best thing about it. Incorporating Natural Calm in to our nutritional routine has made such a difference for us. It’s marketed to help relieve stress, which it does. Probably because it helps you get a better night’s sleep. Magnesium deficiency can show up “as fatigue and low energy; inability to sleep; muscle tension, spasms and cramps; anxiousness and nervousness; headaches; constipation and abnormal heart rhythms.”

We first learned about Natural Calm from Becca’s midwife. When Becca was pregnant with her third baby, she experienced a lot of back pain early on in her pregnancy. Her midwife told her to start taking Natural Calm, and it worked. Now we all love it.

Nutrition Bars that are made for new and pregnant moms are a gem to find. Especially when they’re delicious. From the first trimester on, it seems impossible to keep your energy up. Growing a baby and caring for a baby are hard work. I never believed people when they said they “forgot to eat lunch” until I became a mom. We want moms to remember to care for themselves well, and feeding the body is Self-Care 101.

Pualani Beauty Peppermint Scrub

This scrub has all the good stuff: the natural exfoliant – cane sugar,  moisturizing organic coconut oil, and anti-aging vitamin E oil. Top it off when a delicious peppermint scent, and this is holiday in a jar.

Miss Mouth’s Messy Eater Stain Treater

You can’t take anything during pregnancy too seriously. Like peeing on yourself…it’s probably going to happen and you just have to laugh. A much lesser incident is spilling food on your baby belly. Napkins never stay put, and food can’t get in your mouth fast enough. I ruined so many maternity shirts for this reason. I love it now for my kids messes, but I wished I had known about it from day one. It’s safe, peroxide free, chlorine free, phosphate free, 100% biodegradable and really effective.

Our August box was packed full of some phenomenal products for pregnant and new moms. We love these goodies so much, they’ve already made their way into our daily routines!

Peek Inside the Box: July

Our July Box was packed full of products we are just crazy about! As always, they each focus on the health, encouragement, and well-being of new and expectant mamas.

We’d first love to introduce you to Yorba Organics.

There is so much to feel good about when using Yorba! They truly believe we should know what we’re putting on our bodies – so instead of using chemicals, they only use the best organic ingredients in all of their products. What’s more – each ingredient is ethically sourced and harvested in support of uplifting impoverished communities – incredible!

Our July box featured their Softening Heel and Foot Balm, which is extremely effective in treating foot dryness. It’s made with Mafura, which is easily absorbed into the skin and softens and improves elasticity with its nourishing and moisturizing abilities.
